However, the shackle's presence weighs heavily on your conscience, imposing disadvantage on any Charisma-based skill checks, as you feel the lingering presence of past wrongs. Once per day, the wearer can use a bonus action to manifest the shackles' full power, allowing them to emit a 10-foot radius of unsettling energy. Creatures within this aura must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC 12) or be compelled to recount their greatest moral failing, resulting in psychological distress (1d4 psychic damage) and potential disadvantage on their next attack roll or ability check. The shackles cannot be removed until the user comes to terms with their guilt for the session; otherwise, they will reappear at the start of your next turn.
